Finnish Conversation Group
Tervetuloa (welcome) to anyone interesting in learning or practicing Finnish, whether you are a complete
beginner, or remember five words from your early childhood but are not sure what they mean, or are an accomplished speaker.
The group meets from 4:00 p.m. to 5:25 p.m. in the lower level of the St. Anthony Park Library, St. Paul. The library is located at
the corner of Como and Carter avenues. For more information, please call Urho Rahkola at (651) 429-3319.
Oppilaiset ask, "Mitä kuuluu?" ("What's going on?")
And we discuss what went on last week, from menus to mice in the cabin to major
events. Urho and his friendly group help vocabularies grow and pronunciation improve.
Yes, we translate our discussions into
English so that everyone can understand the interesting topics of the day!
